Product Description
Aluminum Sulphate is a water-soluble compound which is widely utilized as a firming agent in food processing sector with E number E520. It has chemical formula Al2(SO4)3 with the molar mass of 342.15 g/mol in anhydrous form. For animal feed, this powder serves as a bactericide and serves as mordant for printing textiles & dyeing. It appears as white colored solid with hygroscopic property and shows a density of 2.672 g/cm3. In drinking water purification, pulp & paper industry, & for wastewater treatment, Aluminum Sulphate is used as a coagulating agent. It is also soluble in alcohol and shows a melting point of about 770 degrees Celsius.
